Compiling in gVim (Windows 10)

I have a text editor to edit my codes, and I also have a compiler to compile my text. All I need to do is make Vim invoke said compiler for edited text (code). How tho? I'm especially interested in LaTeX - I know that the solution involves the MikTeX distribution, and I want to know the codes to call the compiler. I'm mainly looking for solutions with vanilla Vim (without plugins). If I need plugins, leave a comment please, and I'll go install vim-LaTeX.
