ng2-canvas-whiteboard not working correctly in Angular 6 (Showing strange behavior)

Installed ng2-canvas-whiteboard and integrated with Angular 6 project. It works only when I open developer tool (Inspect element)/console window in browser. I think the problem is we have to make DOM editable for drawing (not sure).
Please help on this and if anyone could share information regarding this, would be really helpful. Thank you.
