Group values based on Frequency density

I am trying to detect the number of columns within a image containing a table. I have used OpenCV to find contours within the image. After a little tuning I have the following image:

enter image description here

Using the data from the x axis, I have created a histogram to show me the frequency density on the axis.

enter image description here

This plot shows the higher concentration at coordinates containing text. You can see 9 such group, same as the number of columns. What I wish to do now is to extract the coordinates within those groups so that I can get the min and the max and hence capture the start pixel and end pixel of the columns. i.e.
Get values with following windows: 0-150, 150-250 ..etc.

I'll input multiple tables with different styling. I wish to automatimally detect such density clusters within the plot and group those values together.
