First guess:Driver="SQL Server"
(or perhaps any of the updated versions, including"ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server"
). Other than that: wrong IP? wrong db name? wrong user name? wrong password entered? wrong port? (Theme of my uncertainty: is there a specific error message that accompanies your perceived inability to connect? What is your platform/OS? What versions of R,DBI
, andodbc
are you using?)
