how to get HDC of a Gdiplus::Bitmap which has the same size of Gdiplus::Bitmap

0

I used following code to create Bitmap and its HDC, but found that they don't have the same size.

 Bitmap memBitmap(4961, 7016);
Graphics memGraphics(&memBitmap);
HDC memHDC = memGraphics.getHDC();
int iTmp1 = GetDeviceCaps(memHDC, HORZRES);
int iTmp2 = GetDeviceCaps(memHDC, VERTRES);
//doSomething...
memGraphics.ReleaseHDC(memHDC);

iTmp1 and iTmp2 are screen current size, such as 1600x900.
How to MAKE memHDC's size to 4961x7016?
Thanks a lot.

  • Well, that is because GetDeviceCaps with HORZRES and VERTRES is supposed to return screen resolution... Device context don't have sizes, bitmaps do.
