埃弗谢德环形山的周边，月球勘测轨道飞行器拍摄。
埃弗谢德环形山（Evershed）是位于月球背面西北部的一座古老大撞击坑，约形成于45.5-39.2亿年前的前酒海纪[1]，其名称取自英国天文学家约翰·埃弗谢德（1864年-1956年），1970年被国际天文学联合会正式接受。

该陨坑西侧和东面分别毗邻已磨损的克雷洛夫陨石坑和叶夫多基莫夫陨石坑、西南坐落了更大的考克饶夫环形山、较小的范登贝赫陨石坑则位于它的南面[2]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为35°18′N 159°31′W / 35.30°N 159.51°W / 35.30; -159.51，直径65.28公里[3]，深约2.74公里[1]。
埃弗谢德环形山坑壁已侵蚀磨损，其中狭窄凹凸的东侧壁重叠在一座更古老的陨坑上，它的西南壁连接了卫星坑埃弗谢德 R，而南侧和东南边缘各覆盖有一座更小的撞击坑。该环形山坑壁最大高出周边地形表面1250米[1]，内部容积约有3704.41立方千米[1]。
坑底中心附近延伸一道嶙峋的山脊，南面崎岖的地形上散布着各式细小的陨坑，坑内其余地区则相对较平坦。
