how to check what's definition of TrustAllCertsPolicy in powerCLI
Current powercli version is 6.0 (upgrade is in on its way) and i am using below code to ignore/trust all certs. During runtime PS script is complaining that 'TrustAllCertsPolicy' already exist and if I don't add below type then invoke-webrequest is failing to query "https:///mob"
add-type @"
using System.Net;
using System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates;
public class TrustAllCertsPolicy : ICertificatePolicy
public bool CheckValidationResult(
ServicePoint srvPoint, X509Certificate certificate,
WebRequest request, int certificateProblem)
return true;
"@
[System.Net.ServicePointManager]::CertificatePolicy = New-Object
TrustAllCertsPolicy
$result = Invoke-WebRequest -Uri "https://IpAddress/resource"
powercli

Are you running that block of code every time you call the Invoke-WebRequest command? If so, you might be better off creating an if statement which looks to see if the TrustAllCertsPolicy exists already. If it doesn't exist, run that block of code. If it doesn't exist, move to the next command.
