pandoc does not include raw text in the RawBlock for latex figures
This is the input:
documentclassbook
usepackagegraphicx
usepackagetikz
begindocument
chapterIntroduction
beginfigure
centering
begintikzpicture
draw [thick, ->] (0,1) -- (2,1);
endtikzpicture
captionSome Caption
endfigure
enddocument
I ran this command:
$ pandoc hello.tex -t json
"blocks":["t":"Header","c":[1,["introduction",,],
["t":"Str","c":"Introduction"]],"t":"RawBlock","c":["latex","\centering"]],"pandoc-api-version":[1,17,3,1],"meta":
This is version info:
$ pandoc --version
pandoc 2.1.2
Compiled with pandoc-types 1.17.3.1, texmath 0.10.1.2, skylighting 0.6
Any idea why only centering
is included in the raw text? Why that tikz related things are not part of the text?

Later I found thatraw_latex
extension should be used. But still there is one more issue. I have reported it here: github.com/jgm/pandoc/issues/5084
