Change default request timeout of express server

The default express request timeout is 120000ms (2mins).
My app sometimes exceeds this timeout (communication with PLC HMI could be slow sometimes), so I want to increase this timeout. I dont want to edit each moduls' server instance, but only 1 general solution: I would like to change the default timeout of the express npm module. Is is possible somehow? Is there any options file where I can change it? or maybe is there any npm moduls that do the task for me? :)

You have to set the timeout specifically for each server instance.
