Build a multiple domain/tenant webapp with different branding

0

We are developing multiple branding APP based on MERN : Mongo, Express, React, NodeJS and webpack. This is our code for the branding on webpack :

const BRANDING = process.env.BRANDING || default;

rules.push(

test: /.scss$/,
loader: ExtractTextPlugin.extract(
use: [
'css-loader',

loader: 'sass-loader',
options:
sourceMap: IS_DEVELOPMENT,

,

loader: 'sass-resources-loader',
options:
resources: [
'./common/style/flaticon/_flaticon_fonts.scss',
'./common/style/flaticon/_flaticon_class.scss',
`./common/branding/$BRANDING/$BRANDING_variables.scss`,
'./common/style/bootstrap/_general_variables.scss',
'./node_modules/bootstrap/scss/bootstrap-reboot.scss', // functions, variables, mixins, reboot
`./common/branding/$BRANDING/$BRANDING.scss`,
]
,
,
]
)
,
);

So, as you can see we are building our theming based on a .env value. It’s working fine but now we want to go further and find a possibility to deploy easily a multiple domain application with one database but different subdomains.
For example :
- google.domain.com - The BRANDING will be google
- microsoft.domain.com - The BRANDING will be Microsoft
We want to keep one repository, one database and if possible, only one server nodejs server.

The best solution will be to have all our main files in our root folder (domain.com), all the branded content into the subfolder.
