Cluster scoring tradeoff calinsky vs sihouette
I am performing hierarchical clustering with a range of n_clusters value and computing both calinsky and silhouette scores to determine the optimal n_clusters value. However, I am observing a tradeoff between the two and do not know which one to choose over the other as they are in different scales.
At first, it seems intuitive to choose n = 105 but while the silhouette score is in decline, the calinski score keeps going up and up

Don't consider them to be "optimal". They are heuristics, and they only suggest a value. There is no guarantee that the value works "best" for the actual user.
