Computer cannot connect to internet after run webpack localhost and open website for a while?
I coded a website and use webpack to run localhost. After open the website for a while my computer cannot connect to the internet. I wonder if the client socket.io cause the the problem?
Here is my funtion that run socket.io. I run this function in componentDidMount()
socketEnLigne()
const socket = io(this.state.endpoint);
socket.on("connect", function()
socket.send('data');
socket.on('broadcast', data =>
this.setState(newData: this.state.newData + 1, needRefresh: true);
if (this.state.autoUpdate) this.refreshData();
);
.bind(this));
Here is a cut of my package.json file. I usually run npm run start to review my website
"name": "arizona",
"version": "1.0.0",
"description": "",
"main": "index.js",
"scripts":
"build": "webpack",
"start": "webpack-dev-server --hot",
"test": "echo "No tests.." && exit 0"
,
reactjs socket.io webpack-dev-server

Maybe your mainthread (javascript) is overheated and that can cause your chrome to freeze but well nothing more
