How to implement Single Sign On in Tomcat's webapps using ADFS 3.0 and SAML using JAVA?

0

I Have the following prerequisites.

1.OS: Window-Server 2016 (Instance of AWS with Public IP: xx.xxx.x.xxx).

2.ADFS (Identity Provider).

3.Tomcat 8 with two web apps (App1 and App2).

Here I want to use App1 as my Service Provider(SP)

Please advise how to connect all the above technologies and provide SSO service.

  • The question is very broad to answer (one can write a book on the topic). Implementing SSO you have multiple components working together and you need to make it secure too. Let's assume you know how to configure ADFS SAML IdP and you know how SAML SSO works. For the Java web application part you may have a look at OpenSAML (I advice to buy the linked book) or Spring Security SAML.
