angular app with dependency on library using async/await does not get built properly
I am trying to build an application which has a dependency on @xmpp/client.
The library is written in plain old JavaScript and uses already async/await.
The async/await calls from the library are included in the build output of ng build
.
How can I configure the build process, so that the async/await calls from the library get transpiled?
Here is the source of a sample application highlighting the problem:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/trampi/angular-import-xmpp/
-> the app component imports the client function from xmppjs
The build result can be viewed here:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/trampi/angular-import-xmpp/master/dist/angular-import-xmpp/vendor.js
-> the vendor file contains async / await calls
angular typescript webpack build angular-cli
