Make Google sheet formula not update

0

So I have a Google sheet that populates some cells with an api call. I use https://github.com/bradjasper/ImportJSON to import from https://scryfall.com/docs/api if that matters.

I make a call on every row based on the A column value of that row, and it's fast enough, but every time i try to sort the sheet, it reruns every column.

I don't want to make the values static forever, because I use price data that changes, but it doesn't change that often, so I would preferably just rerun the request when I choose to do it manually, or if not that, just when I load the page. Is there a way to do this?

Example of what my queries look like:

=VALUE((importJSON(CONCATENATE("https://api.scryfall.com/cards/search?q=%21",ArrayFormula( lower(REGEXREPLACE(A14, "([^A-Za-z0-9]+)" , "" ) )), IF(ISBLANK(J14), "", CONCATENATE("+set%3A", J14))), "/data/usd", "noHeaders, noTruncate" )))

Where A has names of magic the gathering cards, and J has an optional set code if I need to specify set
