I am new to javafx and I want to make checkboxes in my Tableview. I want it to be able to choose multiple boxes.
I searched for a really long time but nothing helped
My code snippet
@FXML
private TableColumn<Ingredient,Boolean> ing_check;
@FXML
private void initialize()
ing_check.setCellFactory(CheckBoxTableCell.forTableColumn(ing_check));
ing_check.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactor("selected"));
ingredientname.setCellValueFactory(new PropertyValueFactory<>("name")
);
This is so weird because the checkboxes doesn't do anything at all and it only can choose one at a time.
This is what it looks like
Oh and I am seperating model view and main code. So fxml is in another file.
Any ideas ?
javafx fxml

Is the column and the table editable? Furthermore the second@FXML
should yield a compile time exception, since only fields and methods can be annotated with that annotation.
