Latex float package des not work with scrartcl documentclass

This works perfectly:
documentclassscrartcl
usepackagefloat
begindocument
Text
enddocument
But this won't compile:
RequirePackagefloat
documentclassscrartcl
begindocument
Text
enddocument
It failes with the output:
Class scrartcl Info: Redefining `numberline' on input line 5319.
! LaTeX Error: Command float@listhead already defined.
Or name end... illegal, see p.192 of the manual.
In case you ask why I do not simply use the first variant: I'm currently writing a program that works like this:
Input:
documentclassSome latex class
begindocument
Some latex source code
Output
RequirePackagefloat
RequirePackageother required packages
documentclassSome Latex Class
begindocument
Some latex source code
Some latex code that uses the float package
enddocument
And I think scanning for the documentclass and inserting usepackages after it seems a bit dirty to me.
