Spark - classifier SVM - AUC ROC
My question is:
Can anyone explain me what the spark SVM classifier is using to get the AUC ROC since the linear SVM does not produce a probabilistic output? I have seen countless explanation about Platt's work transforming the output into probabilistic.. However, according to a lot of research material including Murphy's MIT book this approach is highly disencouraged to use.
Bottom line is, i can calculate the ROC using pyspark library but i dont know what they are doing behind it
