Make entity framework generate nullable parameter from stored procedure
I have a stored procedure, for example:
CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].myStoredProcName
@inputParam1 int,
@inputParam2 VARCHAR(150),
@outputParam1 BIT OUTPUT
@outputParam2 BIT = 0 OUTPUT
AS
BEGIN
--SQL here
END
And I have used the entity model to create a function import, but the input parameters generated don't seem to properly correlate with the stored procedure, like this:
public virtual int myStoredProcName(Nullable<int> inputParam1, string inputParam2, Nullable<bool> outputParam1, ObjectParameter outputParam2)
I recently added outputParam2 to the stored procedure. My problem is I need the outputParam2 to be Nullable too because the function is referenced in other places that I have no control over and I don't want the additional parameter to break the other functions.
My question is, why does it generate the parameters this way? And is there a way to get it to make the outputParam2 Nullable instead of an ObjectParameter?
P.S. I'm very new to entity framework so I apologise if this makes no sense.
