How to deploy poLCA in r
I used poLCA
in r to create the desired segments. Now I want to deploy the scoring on new data, but I can't find a predict function to score new data. Do I have to create the equation for each group manually or is there a way to score a new dataset?
For example using the r data of
library(poLCA)
data("carcinoma")
f <- cbind(A, B, C, D, E, F, G) ~ 1
lc4 <- poLCA(f, carcinoma, nclass = 4, maxiter = 5000)
I can use cbind(carcinoma,lc4$predclass)
to score the current data, but this does not allow for new data to be scored/classified.
Do I just run the new case through poLCA(f, carcinoma, nclass = 4, maxiter = 5000)
function even if it is one new case?
r cluster-analysis latent-semantic-indexing mclust
